the ceiling fan

Jackson loves to look at the ceiling fan as I suppose most babies do. Here is a video I took on my phone.

the definition of crazy

We have lived in our house for four years and yet we waited until we had a 6 week old baby to decide to put it on the market. So for the last 2 weeks we have been painting, cleaning, and packing boxes. I have learned to do many tasks while carrying Jackson in his Bjorn. I painted the downstairs bathroom while Keith was at work, it took me all day to do about an hour's worth of painting but I got it done. Yesterday the photographer came and I had run all around the house, with Jax strapped to me, moving things where they would look best not to mention capture the world's worst dogs and keep them outside while he was in and vice versa. We have to keep the house clean and "show ready" at all times now. What kind of crazy people sign up to this with a new baby? I barely have time to brush my hair let alone keep the house spot less! Wish us well friends.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today I did a little photo shoot with Jax. I know at least one of my blog readers is MUCH better at photography than I am but since my baby is so cute I'll keep posting my attempts at photography and hope his cuteness makes up for my lack of skills.

When I showed Keith the pictures he said, "is he wearing a suit". Like it was unreasonable that our six week old baby would be posing in a little suit.

little baby in a big bed

Don't worry, I know the dangers of letting babies sleep with you. Jackson sleeps swaddled in his bassinet in our room but sometimes I can sneak in a few extra minutes of sleep by putting him in bed with me in the morning. On Sunday Jackson enjoyed a snooze with Mama and Daddy for about an hour and we snapped these pictures because we thought he looked like he was really enjoying having that big bed to himself.

My favorite photo so far

Keith captured this face during "tummy time" a few days ago. His little fist and furrowed brow looks like he is ready to scold us.
